Senior Shopify Developer (Remote)

As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify stores for our clients. You’ll work on building custom themes, integrating third-party apps, and optimizing store performance. This role is ideal for someone with at least 3 years of proven Shopify development experience who thrives in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes, sections, and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build and maintain Shopify apps and integrations with third-party services.
• Optimize store performance for speed, responsiveness, and SEO.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Stay updated with Shopify’s latest updates, APIs, and ecosystem trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and Shopify APIs.
• Experience with Shopify Plus, custom app development, and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
• Proficiency with version control (Git).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React.js, Vue.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of headless commerce setups.
• Understanding of eCommerce CRO (conversion rate optimization).
