1- Senior Site Architect (Supervision section) AUH&DXB:

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Architect to lead the supervision and quality control of architectural works on-site. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all architectural construction activities are executed in strict compliance with the approved drawings, specifications, design intent, project standards, and contractual obligations.

The role requires advanced technical knowledge, leadership in site-based decision-making, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of architectural quality and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Review and approve architectural shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, mock-ups, and samples submitted by contractors.
• Ensure strict adherence to design intent and architectural details during all stages of construction.
• Monitor construction progress and proactively identify risks or deviations, providing timely solutions and corrective actions.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to resolve design and construction issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections, snagging, and handover processes, ensuring high-quality finishes and workmanship.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams, architectural inspectors, and junior staff.
• Attend technical, coordination, and progress meetings with the contractor, client, and consultant teams.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive site reports highlighting progress, quality issues, risks, and corrective measures.
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards related to architectural works.
• Support the project management team in achieving project milestones and delivering works to the highest standards within budget and schedule constraints.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Professional membership/accreditation (e.g., RIBA, AIA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 5 years in a senior site supervision role on major architectural projects.
• Proven experience in supervision of large-scale, high-end, or complex projects (e.g., residential compounds, mixed-use developments, hospitality projects, commercial towers).
• In-depth knowledge of architectural materials, construction techniques, detailing, finishes, and building systems.
• Strong understanding of international building codes, standards (e.g., IBC, NFPA), and local regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret, review, and comment on drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and site management software.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: Up to AED12,000.00 per month
