Job Title: Billing Engineer

Experience - 5+ years

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing Engineer to join our team at Syncotts International. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our projects. As a Billing Engineer, you will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to track project costs, prepare invoices, and manage billing documentation.

Responsibility:

• New Project Initiation with Project Team
• Pre- Project Quantity Calculation of items as per BOQ and providing the data to site team
• Pre- Project Labour and Mason calculation as per BOQ and providing the data to site team
• Quantity Checking of executing items at site as per bills
• Labour and Mason qty checking at site as per requirement
• Site Measurement for Billing Purposes
• Bill Preparation and Submission
• Coordination with Accounts department for GST bills
• Pre-rate finalization of executing items with Project Team and keeping a record of the same
• Rate check and approvals of the bills as per pre-approved rates
• Monitoring site expenditure as per the BOQ items and keeping a record of the same
• MIS reports on quantity and financial aspects of projects execution as per pre-approved details and billing status
• Record keeping of all the necessary documents pertaining to the job description and monthly submission of the same.
• Cost Estimation (Pre-Tender)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience in billing, invoicing, or financial management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of project management principles and contract management.
