Senior Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead and supervise site execution activities for structural steel, PEB, warehouse, industrial, commercial, and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating with clients and consultants, supervising site teams, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and delivering projects within approved schedules.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Supervision

• Lead and manage all site construction activities from mobilization to project handover.
• Supervise structural steel erection, PEB installation, warehouse construction, and architectural steel works.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate multiple work fronts and subcontractors to maintain project schedules.
• Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to site engineers, foremen, and supervisors.

Structural Steel & PEB Works

• Supervise erection and installation of:
• Structural Steel Buildings
• PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) Structures
• Warehouses & Industrial Buildings
• Structural Beams & Columns
• Mezzanine Floors
• Steel Staircases
• Canopies & Pergolas
• Handrails & Guardrails
• Catwalks & Platforms
• Architectural Steel Works
• Ensure alignment, leveling, bolt tightening, welding quality, and erection tolerances meet project specifications.
• Coordinate with fabrication teams to ensure timely delivery of steel components.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Attend project meetings and provide progress updates.
• Review and monitor project schedules and resource requirements.
• Ensure smooth coordination between site, factory, procurement, and engineering teams.

Technical Management

• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, erection drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Coordinate material approvals, technical submittals, and RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with approved construction methodologies.

Manpower & Resource Management

• Manage site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and workforce.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources efficiently.
• Monitor productivity and take corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure effective utilization of labor and machinery.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
• Monitor welding quality, steel erection standards, and finishing quality.
• Ensure timely closure of snagging and punch-list items.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce company HSE policies and UAE safety regulations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure safe lifting operations, working at height, and steel erection activities.
• Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor project schedules and identify delays.
• Recommend recovery plans and corrective actions when required.
• Report site performance and project status to management.

Project Handover

• Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, and handover activities.
• Ensure all project documentation is completed.
• Support final project closeout and client handover.
