Senior Site Engineer - Mechanical

Hassan Allam Holding is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the region, delivering world-class infrastructure and water solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer – Mechanical to join our team for a Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Desalination Plant project.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee site mechanical works for the desalination plant in line with project specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems including pumps, piping networks, valves, and RO process equipment.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Review mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications, ensuring accurate implementation.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of mechanical systems until successful handover.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 4–7 years of experience in site mechanical works, with at least 2 years in seawater desalination (SWRO) or water treatment projects .
• Solid knowledge of desalination process equipment: RO skids, high-pressure pumps, piping systems, intake/outfall structures, etc.
• Strong understanding of international codes and standards (ASME, API, AWWA).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to project timelines.
