Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field.

• 5+ years experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.

• Strong skills in IT infrastructure: systems, networking, virtualization.

• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (AZ-900 level or higher).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Application Insights, or similar.

• Knowledge of Azure SQL or similar databases.

• Experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Containerization and Kubernetes experience, especially securing container workloads.

• Agile/Scrum experience.

• Bonus: Experience with European compliance standards (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Technical Skills:

• Master SRE best practices, Azure infrastructure, IaC, MS SQL, and deployment pipelines.

• Design and enforce secure Azure environments (RBAC, NSGs, Azure Policy).

• Manage identity and access (MFA, conditional access, managed identities).

• Integrate security checks into IaC scripts.

• Detect and fix cloud vulnerabilities using security tools.

• Ensure data protection and encryption (Azure Key Vault).

• Monitor systems and respond to incidents using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and tools.

• Maintain compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).

• Embed security into DevOps pipelines.

• Promote Zero Trust security principles.

Project Contribution:

• Support critical SRE projects with architecture and security guidance.

• Maintain and improve IaC code quality and security.

• Identify risks and implement mitigation.

• Advise senior engineers and track project progress.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work with developers, QA, InfoSec, and managers to ensure security and reliability.

• Communicate clearly in meetings and documentation.

• Lead Agile Scrum ceremonies with security focus.

Growth & Innovation:

• Propose new security tools and automation ideas.

• Optimize security and reliability processes.

• Share knowledge and promote security culture.

• Stay updated on Azure security trends and best practices.
