Senior-SMO (ICU )

Job Description :

• Fully trained to carryout interventional procedure such as invasive procedures like CVP line, ETT intubation, ventilators, Ascetic Tap, BIPAP, Pleural Tap, CPAP, Lumbar puncture etc. (Every procedure has to be carried out after written consent / documentation before each procedure from the immediate attendant).
• Active role in updating clinical and administrative protocols in coherence with patient, family needs in isolation.
• Update practices according to changing public health scenarios of Covid practices.
• Perform daily rounds, assess admitted patients, counsel attendants with medical team. Communicate current issues and proposed solutions to the management and consultants.
• Review and monitor patient treatment, carry out related procedures, and critically diagnose and re-examine patients who don't respond to standard treatment.
• Respond to patient immediately and assess head to toe.
• Take lead and delegate task to medical staff (Call for help, Medication, CPR)
• Document all steps, communications Counsel patients’ family, involve MOD, senior staff and consultant if needed, update counselling files also take signatures of MOD and attendant on counselling file.
• Supervises communication with medical officers and consultants, ensuring adherence to updated and final plans.
