Senior Software analyst should have experience with the following:
- Banner Student Information System (Registration, Self-service, Students and Faculty)
- Student financial receivable (AR), student financial aid.
- Banner Student Admin.
- Student Recruitment, CRM Recruit.
- Oracle platform, SQL, PL/SQL, Argos and reporting tools, and JavaScript.
- Academic Advising Solution.
Tasks AND Responsibilities:
- Work with the academic team leader to ensure full understanding of the change implications to current business processes and participate in every aspect of the development and implementation.
- Design and build product deliverables according to specifications, escalate technical design or specification issues to the business analyst/project manager, and work within a given timeframe to complete coding.
- Follow good development practices and software development life cycle methodologies throughout product development.
- Work on application development projects, including requirements definition, analysis and design, data conversion, and testing, as well as enhancements and maintenance of existing applications.
- Assist with the development and implementation of security procedures for the database, including access and user account management, as required.
- Develop work plans and timelines for the assigned projects. Monitors progress to ensure the achievement of objectives.
- Test and upgrade applications’ patches.
- Identify and resolve data extraction issues while developing new data schemas for the university's data warehouse.
- Create, modify, and tune DBs’ schemas.
- Migrate/integrate data with different applications.
- Explore the new features and implement the required enhancements to the academic applications.
- Test and troubleshoot any academic mobile application.
