Senior Software Development Engineer

At Brighterion, as part of Mastercard AIDPE, we lead the industry in providing artificial intelligence for mission critical decision making. Our world-class software operates at scale to detect and inform in real-time, across tens of thousands of events per second. We are currently seeking a full stack engineer in Pune to join our growing team, as we explore new concepts in AI management. In this role, you will work with data scientists, architects, and test engineers, to develop high performance Single Page Applications used to monitor, analyze, and control our AI products.

Role

• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on business needs.
• Apply best development practices to write well designed, maintainable, testable, scalable, and secure code.
• Test and verify features work correctly.
• Manage your own time and task list efficiently.
• Architect and build screens, widgets, and other UI elements in an extensible way that is tuneable by designers.
• Design and build REST APIs as per industry standards, Open API specification
• Use tools such as VS Code, IntelliJ, Git, JIRA, and StoryBook, SONAR Cube, Blackduck
• Transform well-planned wireframes and designs into functional working software.

All About You

• experience as Full stack Developer
• experience developing and maintaining ReactJS and Redux based web Single Page Applications.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES5 and ES6/7 and ES8), HTML5, webpack-5 and postcss.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Proven ability to deliver software products from concept to submission.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong Programming skills in Java or Node
• Lots of experience with Frameworks like Express and Spring
• Good understanding of relational database systems like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL
• Good communicator with the ability to work in a team environment.
