Reporting to the VP COG ECM enterprise Forms Portfolio Delivery Manager, this role will be responsible for managing and supporting Implementation of a new Document solution for identified applications with the CCM landscape, in APAC.

OpenText xPression and Duckcreek has been the corporate document generation tool of choice within Chubb. But xPression going end of life and be unsupported from 2025. A new Customer Communications Management (CCM) platform – Quadient Inspire - has been selected to replace xPression by a global working group and implementation of this new tool (including migration of existing forms/templates from xPression where applicable). Apart from migrating from xPression, there are multiple existing applications to be replaced with Quadient Inspire

The role is based in Hyderabad/India with some travel to other Chubb offices. Although there are no direct line management responsibilities within this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for task management of Business Analysts and an Onshore/Offshore development team. The role will require the ability to manage multiple project/enhancement streams with a variety of levels of technical/functional scope and across a number of different technologies.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in software design, development, and implementation using Java/J2EE Technical stack.
• Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration, and performance testing.
• Adheres to best practices and quality standards through.
• Should work as individual contributor with minimum support.
• Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure full-stack applications using Java for back-end development and Angular for front-end development.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Database Management:
• Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and functions using PL/SQL.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in database operations.
• System Design:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable system architectures.
• Testing and Debugging:
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks to enhance development processes.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing systems and recommend solutions.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Angular (Angular 2+ preferred) for building dynamic and responsive front-end applications.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL for database development, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in developing enterprise-level applications.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
