We are seeking a Senior SAP CPI Engineer at Haleon who will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced cloud-based integration solutions to support our consumer health applications. This senior position requires a strategic thinker who can lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity across various cloud platforms and services. The successful candidate will drive the implementation of best practices in cloud integration, security, and scalability, significantly contributing to Haleon's digital transformation initiatives.

Senior CPI Engineering Lead Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership: Spearhead the development of robust integration architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technological advancements.

Integration Solution Design: Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated integration solutions using SAP CPI, facilitating seamless connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Integration Flow Development: Oversee the development and configuration of integration flows, ensuring they align with complex business requirements and adhere to high performance standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including Development, DevOps, and Security, to deliver APIs that are not only scalable and reusable but also adhere to stringent security protocols.

Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay at the forefront of SAP CPI advancements, best practices, and industry trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Project Management Excellence: Manage integration projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations.

Team and Stakeholder Engagement: Foster effective communication and collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and management, ensuring alignment and successful project execution across all levels of the organization.

Essential Skills

Educational Background: Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, providing a solid foundation in technical and analytical skills.

Professional Experience: Brings over 3 years of specialized experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) design and development, demonstrating a deep expertise in crafting robust integration solutions.

Integration Expertise: Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of integration concepts, with a strong focus on APIs and web services, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across systems.

SAP Systems Proficiency: Extensive experience with key SAP systems and modules, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, enabling effective integration and optimization of business processes.

API Management Mastery: Demonstrates proficiency in API management best practices, encompassing security protocols such as HMAC, OAuth, JWT, and API Keys, as well as rate limiting, versioning, monitoring, and alerting to ensure secure and efficient API operations.

Technical Skills: Skilled in hands-on scripting using languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, and Python for developing custom adapters and transformations. Experienced in utilizing Git and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

Problem-Solving and Communication: Possesses excellent problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Documentation Proficiency: Adept at preparing comprehensive documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility of technical information for diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills

API Management Expertise: Extensive experience with leading API management tools, including Apigee, showcasing the ability to design, implement, and optimize API solutions that enhance system interoperability and performance.

Demonstrated expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, enabling efficient and scalable infrastructure deployment and management, while ensuring consistency and compliance across environments.
