Senior Software Engineer

• Provide a superior level of experience and knowledge of the DXP platforms Such as Liferay to support team members through all phases of the delivery lifecycle.

• Responsible for ensuring the efficiency of developing deliverables, timely builds, and overall code quality.

• Communicate on software-related issues, suggest improvements, and participate with other users in the Development community.

• Maintain high software quality standards within the team by establishing good practices and habits.

• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based business applications built on Liferay technologies.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

• Excellent command of English.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.

System Design & Architecture: Designing scalable, reliable systems for medium-to-large applications that can support the next-level ICP requirements. • Scalability & Microservices: Building distributed systems and microservices that handle growth efficiently and reliably. • IIoT/IoT & Industrial Protocols: Experience with MQTT, Modbus, and other industrial protocols, plus real-time sensor data processing. • Programming & Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, Python, Flask, Socket.IO, and MongoDB, with a focus on building scalable, maintainable, high-quality code. • Cloud & DevOps: Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. • Data & Analytics: Managing relational/NoSQL databases, caching, and message queues aligned with ICP evolution. • Collaboration & Leadership: Mentoring, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
