About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience of building Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop state-of-the-art SaaS Cognitive Solutions working with Ericsson R&D Global Teams. Your role will include all software development activities related to creating cloud native product that is scalable, maintainable handling large data ingestion, data pipelines and visualizing to the end user, coordinating between backend, frontend, and domain experts. Our focus is simple, optimal, scalable software architecture using microservices on lean and agile ways of working. We are organized in cross-functional multi-domain development teams in which we foster continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

What you will do

• • Analyze business requirements to determine the appropriate technical solutions on AWS that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Drive application design and development that is scalable and maintainable.
  • Provide expert guidance and oversight during the implementation phase, working closely with engineering teams to ensure adherence to architectural best practices and AWS standards.
  • Using AWS services to design, implement, and deploy cloud native applications into AWS tenants and environments.
  • Design, implement, and deploy Microservices, Micro-frontend applications into AWS tenants and environments.
  • Apply Test-Driven-Development approach.
  • Ensure that all design documents, diagrams, non-functional requirements, standards, and best practices are followed and done on time and with high-quality.
  • Advise with technical guidance to management team.
  • Provide Technical support and help to individuals from different teams in the organization.
  • Document the designed solution and provide a technical solution design Documents.
  • Maintain software and support life-cycle-management of the end-to-end cloud native products & Machine Learning components through CI/CD.
  • Support product & security documentation.

  
  The skills you bring:

  
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience overall in Software Development.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Cloud development environment with a focus on designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, Object-Oriented design concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in building Microservices based applications following the API First approach.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Cloud Native applications, Serverless Computing, and communication between System Components e.g., Microservices, SQL, NoSQL Databases, Message Broker systems, Object Storage, Micro-frontend, and Data workflows.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Containers, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, Horizontal Scaling, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Python and Spring Boot.
  • Experience in AWS services such as S3, Fargate, Lambda, ECS, EKS, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, IAM, Cognito, API Gateway, Step Functions, Redshift, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, Aurora, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, SageMaker, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability designing and building data pipelines on GCP.
  • Experience working in a DevOps-focused environment with solid understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Experience in Test-Driven-Development.
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
  • AWS certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or other relevant certifications would be a strong asset.
  • Experience in other Cloud Platforms such as GCP, Azure, IBM, etc., would be a strong asset.
  • Experience in MLOps is a plus.
