Senior Software Engineer - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and REST APIs using Python (Django/Flask).

• Plan, design, and execute test strategies for backend, frontend, and integrated systems.
• Perform manual functional testing, regression testing, and automation scripting for end-to-end validation.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure quality gates are integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain detailed test documentation, track defects, and provide clear defect reports and root cause analyses.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through automated testing.
• For embedded testing profiles: perform hardware-in-loop (HIL) testing, communication interface testing (CAN, UART, SPI), and validation of embedded logic.

• Strong background in manual and automation testing of web-based and cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Newman, REST Assured).
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD integrations for automated test execution.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust is desirable.
• At least one engineer should have embedded testing experience with understanding of firmware validation and serial communication protocols.
