We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Backend who will take ownership of backend architecture and drive the development of high performance systems. You are not just writing code, you are designing robust services, improving system reliability, and influencing technical direction. You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Architecture
Design and develop scalable backend systems, APIs, and services that support high availability and performance.

System Optimization
Improve application performance, database efficiency, and system reliability through monitoring and optimization.

Code Quality
Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code following best practices and coding standards.

Collaboration
Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end to end solutions.

Mentorship
Guide junior and mid level engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.

Security and Reliability
Ensure applications meet security standards and are resilient under production workloads.

What We Are Looking For

Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in backend development with strong exposure to scalable systems.

Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Python or Node.js
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Experience with Docker and CI CD pipelines

Problem Solving
Strong analytical thinking and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Communication
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and explain technical concepts clearly.

Mindset
You are pragmatic and results driven. You balance speed and quality while building systems that scale.

Pay: QAR14,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
