Senior Software Engineer (Python)

FiveRivers Technologies is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team. As a Python Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions.

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  

• Designing and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications.
  

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  

• Work with databases using ORM libraries such as SQLAlchemy to manage and manipulate data.
  

• Implement security best practices and data protection mechanisms to safeguard sensitive information.
  

• Understanding, analyzing, and implementing business needs, featuring modification requests, and converting them into software components.
  

• Integrating user-oriented elements into different applications data storage solutions.
  

• Integrate third-party services and APIs into the application to enhance its functionality.
  

• Developing Backend components to enhance performance, receptiveness, server-side logic, and implementing platform statistical learning models for highly responsive web applications.
  

• Use asynchronous programming models to handle concurrent requests and improve application performance.
  

• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and encourage best practices.
  

• Updating software solutions as required.
  

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design.

Requirements:

• Experience of 3 to 5 years in developing backend services using Python
  

• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  

• Experience with building Micro services-based apps.
  

• Working with databases (both SQL and NoSQL)
  

• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures for the suitable problems
  

• Familiarity with cloud platforms preferably AWS
  

• Expertise in Micro services Architecture
  

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
  

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Pipelines
  

• Good Analytical and communication skills
  

• Good to have Data Engineering Skills
