Senior Software presales engineer

Job description:

1. Software Solutions Design
2. Software Solution features documentation
3. Presenting suggested solutions / features in a development roadmap to the CEO
4. Reviewing the proposed solutions with the technical implementation team and the software development team
5. Work with the technical implementation team and the software development team to test the developed solutions and to ensure that the developed solution is aligned with the requirements
6. Create documentation for the developed solution
7. Explore new technologies to maintain our solution offering competitive edge
8. Work with the sales team to analyze customers’ requirements and present viable solutions
9. Work with the sales team to provide demonstrations, presentations and user training sessions to customers
10. Report and document bugs and enhancements to the software development team while ensuring that the reported items are addressed as expected
11. Provides consultation to customers to reach optimum design and performance
12. Work with Marketing team to build marketing collaterals to position the Software Solutions through Marketing Channels
13. Provides progress reports and maintains service logs and record keeping responsibilities

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Information Systems Technology Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience.

Background: Minimum of 2–3 years in software development, followed by experience in presales engineering.

Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken).

Technical Skills: Strong technical foundation, ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Work Flexibility: Ability to work remotely from Egypt according to Canada’s time zone (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM).
