Senior Solar Design Electrical Engineer

What we are looking for:

Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the management of project. This role would require the incumbent to cover all aspects including identification of opportunities, managing stakeholders, managing internal teams, contract negotiations and inter departmental coordination.The ideal candidate must have 8 years of experience as Electrical Engineer for the energy sector with corporate clients. The successful candidate will get to work alongside an experienced team of renewable energy developers with an impressive track record.

Job Description:·

• Coordination with the clients and collecting technical data during site visits·
• Analyses of the available electrical details of the clients to estimate the solar PV potential· Developing PV syst Designs·
• Preparation of BOQs and Costing of the Projects.·
• Electrical design of the PV plants and preparation of Single Line Diagrams ·
• Research of Latest PV Panel and Inverter Technologies·
• Documentation of Licensing Applications and correspondence with NEPRA and AEDB·
• Documentation of Warranty Claims and Correspondence with Foreign Suppliers· Follow NEPRA/AEDB for new policies and projects being installed in the country·
• MV Design for Large Commercial/ Utility Scale Projects·
• Technical evaluation of the bids and Selection of electrical equipment

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant Electrical Engineer experience in the energy sector is mandatory
• Minimum BSc Electrical Engineering
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, demonstrated or titled position, (oral/written/presentation/interpersonal) to drive results in a team environment under minimal direction with internal and external customers
• Proven track record of B2B sector, prior knowledge in Solar or renewables energy is a big plus
• Good analytical and project management skills
• Must be familiar with PPA contract requirements
