Senior Sous Chef (Baker)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Sous Chef – Baker to lead our bakery operations and deliver high-quality baked goods. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills and a creative approach to baking.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Baker or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen
  • Minimum 5–8 years of bakery experience, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Certification in Culinary Arts or Baking is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production of breads, pastries, and baked products
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards
  • Supervise and train bakery team members
  • Plan production schedules based on demand
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP)
  • Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal offerings
  • Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and control costs
