Position Overview:
The Senior Special Inspector leads inspection activities on large or complex projects. They are highly certified, oversee technical compliance, mentor junior inspectors, and serve as technical liaisons between field operations and project management teams.

Responsibilities:

Conduct complex inspections requiring specialized certifications (e.g., structural steel, welding, masonry, or soil compaction).

Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior inspectors and new hires.

Lead quality assurance efforts and ensure documentation meets both company and client requirements.

Act as a liaison between field operations and project managers or engineers regarding technical issues.

Identify and troubleshoot potential project risks or compliance issues, escalating when necessary.

Prepare and review detailed inspection reports and ensure proper data entry into project tracking systems.

Stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices, maintaining advanced certifications.

Operate company vehicles and ensure timely documentation of maintenance needs
