About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven
Senior Specialist – Business Development
to support the growth of Botanica's business portfolio through opportunity development, client engagement, proposal coordination, and pipeline management.
This role plays a key part in supporting the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and opportunity qualification to proposal development and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development

Identify and support the development of new business opportunities across target markets and customer segments.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Contribute to building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
Client Relationship Management

Support the acquisition of new clients and maintain relationships with existing customers.

Understand client requirements and coordinate internally to deliver tailored solutions.

Manage follow-ups, meeting records, and client engagement activities.
Sales & Commercial Support

Support sales initiatives and contribute toward revenue targets and commercial KPIs.

Track opportunity progress, conversion rates, and pipeline performance.

Assist in preparing commercial information and supporting documentation.
Proposal & Pipeline Management

Coordinate proposal preparation with internal stakeholders.

Assist in developing proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial submissions.

Maintain accurate CRM records and opportunity tracking throughout the sales cycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Production teams.

Ensure commercial commitments align with operational capabilities and company objectives.

What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.

3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or a related commercial role.

Experience supporting client acquisition and business growth initiatives.

Familiarity with proposal development, commercial coordination, and sales processes.

Experience using CRM systems and maintaining sales pipelines.
Skills
