About the Role


We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Senior Specialist – Business Development to support the growth of Botanica's business portfolio through opportunity development, client engagement, proposal coordination, and pipeline management.

This role plays a key part in supporting the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and opportunity qualification to proposal development and client relationship management.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development

  • Identify and support the development of new business opportunities across target markets and customer segments.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.

Client Relationship Management

  • Support the acquisition of new clients and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate internally to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage follow-ups, meeting records, and client engagement activities.

Sales & Commercial Support

  • Support sales initiatives and contribute toward revenue targets and commercial KPIs.
  • Track opportunity progress, conversion rates, and pipeline performance.
  • Assist in preparing commercial information and supporting documentation.

Proposal & Pipeline Management

  • Coordinate proposal preparation with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial submissions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and opportunity tracking throughout the sales cycle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Production teams.
  • Ensure commercial commitments align with operational capabilities and company objectives.
  • Support governance and approval processes.


What We're Looking For


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience supporting client acquisition and business growth initiatives.
  • Familiarity with proposal development, commercial coordination, and sales processes.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining sales pipelines.

Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Understanding of business development and sales principles.
  • Experience preparing proposals, presentations, and commercial documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
