Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in ETL and scripting to design develop and optimize ETL workflows and database solutions with strong experience in Capital Markets FRTB Fundamental Review of the Trading Book Traded products such as Equities Fixed income Derivatives and Hedge fund Investment fund portfolios
Job Description
Design develop and maintain robust ETL workflows using ETL tools and scripting to support complex data warehouse operations Develop and optimize complex Oracle PLSQL scripts including stored procedures functions packages and triggers for efficient data extraction transformation and loading Ensure high performance of ETL processes through query tuning indexing and use of advanced PLSQL features Implement data validation cleansing and exception handling mechanisms across staging dimension and fact layers to ensure data quality Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes database designs and scripting standards Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business data requirements into scalable and maintainable ETL solutions
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of batch ETL interfaces using meta data driven approaches tailored for largescale data volumes Monitor and optimize ETL workflow performance including conducting unit testing and peer reviews to ensure code quality Collaborate closely with business analysts data engineers and project managers to understand transformation logic and business rules Participate in architecture and design discussions to align ETL solutions with enterprise data strategies Oversee data governance practices by maintaining metadata data glossaries and enforcing data security protocols Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices in Oracle ETL and scripting Drive continuous improvement initiatives in ETL processes and scripting methodologies to enhance system scalability and maintainability
