Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist - General Ledger to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee general ledger operations including journal entry processing and account reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month end and year end closing activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during periodic audits.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.
- Assist in enhancing accounting procedures and controls.
- Stay current with accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in general ledger or accounting roles.
- In depth knowledge of accounting principles such as IFRS or GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is advantageous.
