Job Purpose
Support the development and implementation of HR strategies that promote a high-performance culture, enhance employee engagement, and facilitate the attraction, development, and retention of top talent. The role oversees core HR processes including employee lifecycle management, HR systems administration, and policy compliance.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
HR Operations

Support the development and execution of HR initiatives that align with the organization's vision, values, and both short- and long-term business objectives.

Work closely with senior leaders to ensure HR initiatives are in sync with organizational goals, emphasizing growth, culture, and employee experience.

Contribute to workforce planning efforts to position the organization for growth and cultural transformation.
Culture & Employee Engagement

Actively support and communicate the organization's core values to foster an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.

Assist in developing and implementing programs aimed at improving employee engagement, job satisfaction, performance, and retention. This includes facilitating feedback mechanisms, such as surveys, to gather and address employee input.
Talent Management & Development

Assist in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

Assist in designing and implementing training programs to enhance employees' skills and support career growth.

Support the development and implementation of performance management systems that provide regular feedback and coaching.

Work with different business units to develop and implement initiatives aimed at improving employee retention.
Operation & Compliance

Ensure the people policies, procedures and programs are compliant with legal requirements as outlined in Omani Labour law as well as industry best practices.

Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable and aligned with the company’s strategic focus.

Support in managing the people department and delivering efficient and effective people services, including employee relations, learning and development, benefits, and administration.
Change Management

Assist in the planning and execution of organizational changes, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions for employees.
Required Qualifications
-
A bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferably in HRM) or a master’s degree is preferable.

Professional Certificate is preferred (CIPD, SHRM, etc.)

More than 8 years’ experience preferably the oil and gas industry.

Good experience in managing teams.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing to various stakeholders
