Senior Specialist - Impact Assessment Management

Job Purpose


Support the development and execution of social assessments across company projects. The role contributes to Social Impact Assessments (SIAs), stakeholder engagement activities, and the integration of social considerations into project planning, permitting, and operations. The position ensures alignment with internal social requirements, national regulations, and international standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in gathering comprehensive community and socioeconomic insights.
  • Review and evaluate potential social impacts and consequences of projects.
  • Support identification of social elements across projects through ESIA, CESMP, and OESMP processes.
  • Assist in identifying negative social impacts and risks, and support the development of mitigation measures.
  • Capture, track, and support resolution of community grievances.
  • Review social sustainability reports, programs, KPIs, and accreditations.
  • Evaluate social impact initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support compliance with internal and external social standards throughout project stages.
  • Assist in designing and facilitating inclusive community consultation and stakeholder engagement processes.
  • Support pre-assessments and continuous impact assessments (CIA) for hospitality operations.
  • Contribute to socioeconomic and cultural studies, community needs assessments, and vulnerability analyses.
  • Assist in preparing social assessment reports and related documentation.
  • Track implementation of social mitigation measures and corrective actions.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing, awareness, and training on social impact topics.
  • Assist in implementing internal tools, workflows, and guidelines.
  • Follow all functional policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Support preparation of accurate and timely MIS reports.
  • Apply safety, quality, and social management procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.


Job Requirements


Academic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, Environmental Studies, or a related field.


Experience:


  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in social assessment, social impact analysis, or community development.
  • Experience in infrastructure, tourism, or large-scale development projects is preferred.


Other Requirements:


  • Good knowledge of Saudi Arabian compliance and social data reporting requirements.
  • Technical skills in field surveys, stakeholder engagement, and basic report writing.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
