Purpose of the Role
To integrate external, market-driven intelligence into Aujan’s analytics ecosystem, enriching decision-making with “outside-in” insights.
The role bridges data from competitor landscapes, market share reports, economic indicators, and in-market survey results with internal commercial and operational performance metrics.
Initially focused on supporting Rani Refreshments’ analytics and market insight needs, the role will lay the foundation for an enterprise-wide insights capability serving both Rani and ACCBC – covering customer, consumer, competitor, people, and asset analytics over time.
Working within the centralized Data & Analytics team, the specialist ensures external intelligence is translated into actionable insights that drive growth, RGM precision, and strategic clarity across the business.

across ACCBC & RR by integrating
external market, competitor, and macroeconomic intelligence
into the BI ecosystem. It functions as an
execution-focused specialist role
, translating “outside-in” insights into actionable inputs for Commercial, RGM, Strategy, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, while operating within defined enterprise data governance and reporting standards.
Key Accountabilities

. Market Intelligence Integration

Source and integrate external data (Nielsen, Euromonitor, Kantar, etc.) into the BI environment.

Structure and align datasets to complement internal KPIs and data models.

Maintain quality, timeliness, and metadata documentation for external feeds.

. Analytics & Insight Development
-
Conduct trend, pricing, and scenario analyses to support RGM, category, and strategic planning.

Translate macro-economic, PESTLE, and category shifts into commercial implications.

Produce concise, decision-ready reports linking external factors to performance outcomes.

Support cross-functional analytics enablement by embedding external metrics in existing reports.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with BI, Commercial, Strategy, and RGM teams to embed market insights in planning cycles.

Liaise with Finance, Sales, and Marketing for forecasting and pricing inputs.

Manage relationships with third-party data providers to enhance reliability and access.

Reporting & Visualization
-
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.
-
Present insights in clear, business-relevant narratives for leadership forums.

Maintain an organized insights repository capturing competitor, category, and macro trends.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

Recommend enhancements to data integration and governance standards.

Track utilization and business impact of delivered insights.

Stay current on emerging analytics tools and data-fusion methods that improve foresight capability.

Requirements
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:

4–6 years in analytics, insights, or market intelligence roles within FMCG or related industries.
Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel and Power BI; familiarity with Tableau and data integration via SharePoint or Azure.

Working knowledge of Nielsen, Euromonitor, and economic data sources.
Behavioral Skills:

Analytical curiosity, commercial acumen, storytelling ability, and confidence to influence cross-functional decisions.
