Senior Specialist of Communication & Event Management

Strategic

• Develop and implement strategic external communications and event plans in alignment with KHDA’s overall vision and objectives.
• Lead high-profile public events and forums, ensuring seamless delivery, impactful messaging, and strong stakeholder participation.
• Oversee content creation and public messaging across KHDA’s communication channels, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment.
• Act as a key liaison with media outlets, managing and nurturing relationships to enhance KHDA’s media presence.
• Analyse public sentiment and media trends to inform communication strategies and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with sector leaders and project teams to ensure consistent and strategic external communications.
• Prepare executive-level briefings, press releases, and speeches for senior management and public representatives.
• Drive innovation in communication practices by introducing new tools, platforms, and engagement strategies.

Operational

Supervise the development of surveys and feedback tools to evaluate communication impact and public engagement.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory communication standards and oversee risk mitigation in external messaging.
• Guide junior team members in communication best practices and event management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
