Senior Specialist - People Shared Services (UAE National)

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

General Summary : Mainly focuses on creating and delivering people practices which develop - and maintain - positive working relationships between an organization and its people.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Supervises all people relations and payroll activities in compliance with the company policy, procedures and UAE government rules and regulations and be a point of contact for all staff on all the matters related to people relations and payroll.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to management on addressing people relations matters including corrective actions, harassment, policy violations, employee grievance process, terminations and conflict resolution.
  • Independently conducts investigations into alleged violations of policies.
  • Works with the Division Head of People Relations and General Counsel to establish best practices, policies and procedures to keep current and ensure compliance with department of labor, and the federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Partners with the General Counsel as needed for matters involving potential litigation.
  • Serves as a resource for employees who have work-related concerns, gathering information on employees’ feelings about factors that affect workplace morale.
  • Ensure that all documents required for all types of company loans are completed and required approval is obtained before processing (housing loan, car loan and all other loans allotment).
  • Process the registration of eligible UAE nationals to the pension scheme.
  • Process Business trip, book flights tickets, hotels for the company delegates.
  • Process request to deduct end of service debit amounts from Abu Dhabi Pension for UAE National employees
  • Manage and maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.


Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves): Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources


Professional Experience (Must haves): 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in employee relations
  • Experience in SAP Success Factors
  • Must have considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources Management.
