The successful candidate will be productive in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) immediately and will help prepare for a planned migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 in 2027.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own/support full-cycle accounting for assigned business units, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and manage customer billing and invoicing, including review of contracts/SOWs/POs, billing schedules, and revenue timing.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to internal and external billing inquiries; maintain complete billing support packages and audit trail.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including required deliverables/reporting for CSI.
  • Prepare and perform detailed reviews of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules; investigate variances and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and variance resolution; prepare intercompany entries/recharges as required.
  • Support revenue processes by preparing/reviewing revenue recognition checklists and supporting schedules, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and CSI revenue policies.
  • Support lease accounting schedules/entries and related reconciliations, ensuring compliance with IFRS 16 (as applicable to the business units).
  • Support audits by preparing schedules, coordinating documentation, and responding to audit requests/questions.
  • Prepare monthly analytical support (e.g., trial balance variance analysis, revenue analysis, AR/WIP/deferred rollforwards) and provide clear commentary on key drivers.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline bookkeeping, billing, close, and controls; proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Prepare and book payroll-related accruals and entries (e.g., vacation/lieu, commissions) with supporting schedules.
  • Support ad hoc projects and operational finance tasks as required (including support for integration/transition activities for new entities, where applicable).

Education and Experience
  • CPA/CA/ACCA (completed or in progress) strongly preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on bookkeeping, billing, and month-end close ownership.
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS, including practical experience supporting IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 analyses, schedules, and month-end entries.
  • Experience in a software / services / technology environment is an asset.
  • Strong Excel skills (comfortable with pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation models; Power Query is an asset).
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) – required (hands-on posting, subledgers, month-end support).
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 – strong asset, especially if you’ve supported an ERP migration/implementation (migration from GP to 365 planned for 2027).
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through; able to work independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.
