Marvell is seeking Senior Staff Engineers to develop firmware and host-side software for the Structera™ CXL product line—cutting-edge solutions designed to address memory bandwidth and capacity challenges in modern data centers.
As part of the CXL Firmware and Software team, you will contribute to the development of both Structera families:
Structera A: Near-memory accelerators that enable optimal compute and memory scaling.
Structera X: Memory-expansion controllers that maximize performance and support sustainability goals.
This is a high-impact engineering role requiring close collaboration with hardware, validation, and product teams. You will be responsible for delivering robust, production-quality firmware and software that powers next-generation memory infrastructure.
What You Can Expect
As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will:

Design and develop firmware for Marvell’s portfolio of CXL and Custom ASIC solutions.

Collaborate with hardware engineering to bring up, test, and validate reference platforms.

Develop software/firmware for management controllers to enhance testability and validation of silicon.
-
Support qualification efforts through test case creation, automation, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.
What We're Looking For
-
Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
-
More than 6 years of experience in firmware/software development within the semiconductor industry
-
Proven hands-on experience with low-level platform firmware, hardware bring-up, and debugging
-
Strong knowledge of Arm Cortex-M, Cortex-A, and RISC-V architectures
-
Proficiency in C programming, debugging tools, and embedded development workflows
-
Experience with Zephyr or other RTOS environments
-
Familiarity with writing drivers for UART, SPI, I2C/I3C, USB, and PCIe
-
Strong understanding of Arm TrustZone and secure firmware implementation

Solid grasp of SoC security architectures and secure boot flows
