Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Patient Care
- Oversee daily nursing activities in inpatient and outpatient units.
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vitals, evaluate clinical progress, and guide junior staff.
- Manage medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and nursing procedures as per protocol.
- Provide advanced support during rounds, procedures, and emergency situations.
- Ensure accurate documentation of treatment charts, nursing notes, and progress records.
Team Management & Supervision
- Supervise Junior Nursing Staff, allocate duties, and ensure compliance with care standards.
- Conduct on-job training for junior staff and nursing assistants.
- Ensure adherence to discipline, ethical practices, and hospital protocols.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving patient-related or workflow issues.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain strict infection control practices and patient safety standards.
- Ensure protocol-aligned nursing operations, audits, and documentation readiness.
- Support incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure proper management of equipment, ward supplies, and sterile items.
Patient & Caregiver Communication
- Educate patients and family members on treatment plans, recovery processes, and hygiene practices.
- Provide psychological support and maintain a compassionate environment.
Qualification & Eligibility
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
- Kerala Nursing Council Registration – Mandatory
- Minimum 5–10 years of clinical experience (Rehabilitation / Orthopaedic / Neuro preferred)
- Strong knowledge of patient care protocols, nursing standards, and emergency response
