Senior Staff Software Engineer

We’re actively hiring a Senior and Staff Software Engineer for a cutting-edge AI startup transforming decision-making in biopharma and life sciences.

The company has already signed deals with leading biopharma organizations, generated outsized demand for its platform, and is developing frontier AI systems to automate workflows and deliver critical insights. They’re now seeking an experienced engineer to design, ship, and operate enterprise-grade, cloud-native systems at the heart of their AI platform.

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering (with startup or small company experience)
• Proven track record building and operating cloud-native microservices on AWS or GCP
• Backend expertise: Python, FastAPI, Docker, container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or GKE)
• Data fluency: PostgreSQL; graph/vector DBs like Neo4J, Neptune, Pinecone, Chroma preferred
• Generative AI: Familiar with LLMs and tools like LangChain, LangSmith, LangGraph, AutoGen, MCP
• Frontend exposure with React, JavaScript, or Vite is a plus
• Security-minded with knowledge of SOC2 or regulated environments
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to own projects end-to-end

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $199,033.02 - $221,308.58 per year
