Key Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of a stock control strategy tailored to retail store operations.

Monitor and control inventory levels across stores and warehouses to ensure optimal stock availability.

Analyze stock movement, sell-through, and inventory turnover to support informed decision-making.

Identify and investigate stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Work closely with store teams to implement best practices in stock handling, counting, and replenishment.

Lead and support periodic stock counts, cycle counts, and audits across retail locations.

Provide training and guidance to store teams on stock control procedures and system usage.

Prepare and present inventory reports, KPIs, and insights to management.

Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, and operations teams to align stock strategies with sales plans.

Ensure accurate stock data within ERP systems and adherence to inventory control policies.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Stock Controller or Senior Stock Controller, preferably in a retail environment.

Strong understanding of retail inventory management and stock control best practices.

Experience developing or supporting inventory strategies across multiple stores.

Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret stock KPIs.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities.
