Senior Storage Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Storage & Backup Engineer who has personally architected, deployed, configured, and operated enterprise storage environments spanning multiple hardware platforms and open-source distributed filesystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Personally architect, deploy, and manage enterprise SAN, NAS, and object storage across multi-vendor environments.

• Administer Dell EMC PowerScale (Isilon) OneFS clusters: SmartPools, SmartQuotas, SyncIQ replication, and multi-protocol access.

• Deploy and operate Dell EMC ECS (Elastic Cloud Storage) as S3-compatible object storage for large-scale unstructured data.

• Configure and manage Dell EMC Data Domain appliances for backup landing, deduplication, DDBoost integration, and remote replication.

• Deploy, administer, and tune Pure Storage FlashArray (all-flash SAN) and FlashBlade (unstructured / NAS / object) platforms.

• Design and operate DDN storage solutions (SFA, EXAScaler, A3I) for HPC and AI/ML data pipeline requirements.

• Deploy and administer open-source distributed storage: Lustre parallel filesystem, Ceph (RBD/CephFS/RGW), and MinIO object storage.

• Integrate storage platforms with virtualization layers: VMware vSphere (VMFS, NFS), and Nutanix.

• Design and enforce backup, snapshot, replication, and disaster recovery policies across all storage tiers.

• Monitor storage performance, capacity utilization, and hardware health; lead to incident response for critical storage failures.

• Automate storage operations and eliminate manual workflows.
