Job Description

The Senior Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for leading and delivering structural design works for RCC and steel structures across GCC projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, authority requirements, and consultancy best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of RCC and steel structures for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare concept, schematic, detailed, and IFC structural designs in line with project scope and client requirements.
• Perform structural calculations, analysis, and design using approved software and engineering methods.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant international and local codes (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, UBC, ASCE) and GCC authority regulations.
• Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate closely with Architectural, MEP, BIM, and Geotechnical teams to ensure fully coordinated designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting teams.
• Participate in design review meetings with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Address technical queries, RFIs, and design changes during design and construction stages.
• Support value engineering initiatives without compromising structural safety or performance.
• Assist in authority submissions and respond to comments from relevant GCC authorities.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, project schedules, and consultancy procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in structural design within engineering consultancies.
• Proven working experience on GCC projects.
• Strong expertise in RCC and steel structure design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, SAP2000 or equivalent).
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and site coordination.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead design deliverables.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,117.59 - ₹150,000.00 per month
