We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with 7–15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE. The role requires strong expertise in reinforced concrete design and construction, proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro, and SAP2000, and solid knowledge of Dubai Building Code, ACI, AISC, and ASCE standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both consultancy and contracting environments (or equivalent design-and-build exposure), with proven ability to manage multiple projects, supervise draftsmen, review subcontractor submissions, and ensure quality compliance on-site. Strong coordination skills, practical knowledge of temporary works, and a value-engineering mindset are essential to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and timely solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of structural elements within overall project designs, enhancing project efficiency.
• Possess practical knowledge of temporary structure design and implementation.
• Provide expert technical guidance during construction, conducting thorough site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and ensuring quality of materials and workmanship.
• Lead the resolution of technical issues arising during construction, delivering cost-effective, timely solutions while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical reports, structural drawings, design calculations, and client communications, ensuring transparency and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential cost savings and value engineering (VE) opportunities.

• Proficient in reinforced concrete with hands-on experience in both design and construction phases.
• Preference for candidates who have worked with both consultancy and contractor firms; however, candidates from contractor backgrounds with combined design and construction experience are also suitable.
• Minimum of 7-15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Skilled in using AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro, and SAP2000 for structural design and analysis.
• Strong understanding of Dubai Building Code, ACI, AISC, and ASCE standards.
• Experienced in preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and supervising structural draftsmen.
• Capable of reviewing subcontractor submissions related to formwork, steel structures, shoring, dewatering, and related activities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
