Senior Structural Engineer

Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer Location: Dubai, UAE Project Scope: Residential Development Tower 1: 20 Floors Tower 2: 22 Floors Tower 3: 19 Floors Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our consultancy team for a landmark residential towers project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the structural design review, coordination, and supervision of high-rise residential buildings, ensuring compliance with UAE standards, client requirements, and international codes. Key Responsibilities 1.Review structural design submissions, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority regulations. 2.Supervise and monitor site works related to structural activities, ensuring quality and timely execution as per approved drawings and standards. 3.Coordinate closely with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues. 4.Conduct structural inspections for foundations, columns, slabs, post-tensioning works, and other major structural elements. 5.Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines. 6.Prepare and review technical reports, method statements, and progress updates. 7.Support the Project Manager in structural-related decision-making and provide expert advice during design and construction stages. Qualifications & Experience 1.Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred). 2.Minimum 12–15 years of experience, with at least 7–10 years in the UAE. 3.Proven experience in high-rise residential tower projects (20+ floors). 4.Strong consultancy background with solid knowledge of Dubai Municipality and UAE authority regulations. 5.Familiarity with international codes such as ACI, BS, and Eurocodes. 6.Excellent technical, leadership, and communication skills. 7.Membership in a professional engineering body (e.g., SOE, ICE, ACI) is an advantage.
