The Site Engineer
will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and maintaining the project schedule.
Key Accountabilities:

Manage all construction activities on-site, including supervising the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards, and ensuring that the work is completed on schedule.

Collaborate with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with the design plans and specifications.

Develop and maintain construction schedules, including identifying critical paths and potential risks, and taking proactive measures to ensure that the project is completed on time.

Ensure that all work on-site is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and that appropriate protective equipment and measures are in place.

Manage the site staff and contractors, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their responsibilities.

Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site and manage inventory levels to ensure that materials are available when needed.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues that may impact the project schedule or quality.

Maintain accurate records of all construction activities, including progress reports, safety records, and quality control reports.

Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to the project manager and other stakeholders.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain construction schedules and manage project budgets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders.

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify potential issues before they become critical.

Ability to manage and motivate a team of site staff and contractors.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Must be willing to work on-site and able to travel as needed.
