Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design, technical reviews, and site supervision for our ongoing and upcoming projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building structures (concrete & steel), excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical

• Lead structural design and analysis for buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and specifications.
• Check, verify, and approve structural drawings and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards (UAE codes, BS, ACI, Eurocodes, etc.).

Site Supervision

• Supervise structural work on-site and ensure execution as per approved drawings.
• Conduct inspections, issue NCRs/SORs, and ensure timely rectifications.
• Review method statements, material submittals, and ITPs related to structural work.

Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Attend technical meetings and resolve structural issues during construction.
• Answer RFIs, prepare technical responses, and manage design modifications.

Project Control

• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and as-built reviews.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure completion within scope and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8–15 years of experience in structural design and site supervision (preferably UAE/GCC).
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD, Revit, AutoCAD.
• Deep understanding of ACI, BS, ASCE, UAE building codes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Consultancy or contractor experience is an advantage.
• UAE driving license (optional but preferred).
