Senior Supply Chain Executive - Food Industry

A supply chain manager plans, oversees, and optimizes the entire process of acquiring raw materials, manufacturing products, and delivering them to customers efficiently and cost-effectively. Key responsibilities include vendor management, demand forecasting, inventory control, logistics and transportation oversight, data analysis for performance improvement, risk management, and collaboration across departments and with external partners. The goal is to ensure a seamless, timely, and economical flow of goods, information, and finances through the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Developing the overall supply chain strategy to align with business goals and creating long-term plans for the company's supply chain.
• Vendor & Procurement Management: Selecting and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services.
• Inventory & Warehouse Management: Maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing storage costs and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
• Logistics & Transportation: Overseeing the transportation and delivery of products, ensuring efficient and timely delivery, and monitoring logistics processes to identify and resolve issues.
• Process Improvement & Optimization: Analyzing supply chain processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing new technologies and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Using data to analyze supply chain performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make informed decisions to improve operations.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks within the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure business continuity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as production, sales, and finance, to ensure coordinated planning and seamless operations.
