Key Responsibilities

• Materials Planning: From the given demand plan, develop and manage materials planning strategies to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
• Capacity Planning: Assess production planning requirements and capacity constraints to meet demand forecasts and minimize bottlenecks, in collaboration with the Manufacturing organization.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Delivery Schedule: Work closely with the Purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Production Scheduling: Work closely with Manufacturing so production schedules meet customer orders and maintain a balanced workflow.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and performance.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on inventory, production, and supply chain performance metrics.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply planning or materials planning, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of inventory management techniques and best practices.
• Experience with inventory management and capacity planning methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Good negotiation skills for coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work under pressure.
