Description:
Supply Planning Execution –
-
Develop and maintain supply plans for raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods, aligned with forecasted demand, promotional calendars, and new product launches.

Review MRP outputs and convert planned orders into purchase or production orders with contract manufacturers.

Monitor material and finished goods availability to support on-time product launches, promotions, and regular replenishment.
-
Identify potential supply risks, such as vendor delays, component shortages, or production constraints, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Partner with Procurement to optimize order frequency, lot sizes, and vendor performance, while managing component costs.

Support continuous improvement of supply planning processes, tools, and adherence to planning calendars specific to the beauty industry.
System Utilization & Maintenance –

Maintain and ensure accuracy of planning system master data for all SKUs, components, and packaging materials (lead times, MOQs, min/max inventory levels, safety stock parameters).

Leverage ERP/MRP systems to analyze supply and demand signals, validate outputs, and support proactive decision-making.

Monitor system-generated recommendations to ensure alignment with business priorities, including promotional launches and seasonal demand spikes.

Partner with IT, Planning leadership, and contract manufacturers to test and implement system enhancements or configuration updates.

Train and support team members on proper system usage and best practices for data integrity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting –

Participate in weekly S&OP meetings and provide actionable insights on supply capacity, component constraints, and launch readiness.

Collaborate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to balance service, cost, and working capital objectives.

Maintain accurate reporting on inventory positions, supplier performance, and key supply metrics for both ongoing operations and promotional activity.

Provide ad hoc analysis to support decisions related to new product launches, marketing campaigns, and vendor capacity planning.
Requirements:

3–5 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or related supply chain functions, preferably in beauty, cosmetics, or personal care industries.

Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP planning logic, inventory management, and supply chain principles, particularly for contract manufacturing environments.

Proficient in Excel and data analysis; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working across multiple functions and external vendors.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and promotional-driven environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
