Senior Support Engineer-Networking (L3)

As a Senior Support Engineer specializing in Networking at SWATX, you will be instrumental in delivering advanced technical support and solutions for our clients’ networking challenges. Your role will include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex network issues to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.

You will work closely with clients to understand their networking needs, provide expert advice, and contribute to enhancing the overall network infrastructure. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be vital in facilitating the resolution of critical network problems.

Key responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated networking issues, including LAN, WAN, and cloud networking.
• Provide expert guidance on network design, implementation, and optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the training of support team members.
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or technical support focused on networking technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewall configurations, and related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Networking certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIA) are highly desirable.
