Senior Support Services Supervisor

A Senior Support Services Supervisor is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and general appearance of public spaces, recreational facilities, and associated activities. Oversee staff, guarantee that safety and hygiene standards are upheld, and play a role in fostering a positive experience for guests and tenants. This position entails training, scheduling, and managing the performance of their team.


· Leading and managing a team of public area or recreation staff members, which includes responsibilities such as scheduling, task allocation, and more.

· Overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of all public areas and recreational facilities.

· Review the work order reports provided by the Support Services Supervisors related to public areas and recreation before making any decisions, subsequent to receiving approval from the Support Services Manager. This includes requirements in building facilities like the Swimming Pool, Sauna, Gym, Courtyard, Squash Court, Workstation, Kids Play Area, etc.

· Oversee all requirements with the paid facilities, such as billiards, coin operated dryer, coffee machine, and vending machine.

· Address the necessary requirements and relay this information to the team for the next step.

· Evaluate and compile the reports provided by the team, then forward them to the Support Services Manager.

· Conduct a routine inspection to verify that cleanliness standards, maintenance in landscape, recreation facilities and to detect any other maintenance or safety concerns.

· Ensure the inquiries and issues related to public areas, and recreation facilities are addressed ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.

· Implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols in all public areas.

· Ensuring facility upkeep, supervising the maintenance and care of recreational facilities and equipment.

· In coordination with the Staff Accommodation in-charge for concerns related pest control requests and additional matters.

· Liaise with outsource company providers, suppliers regarding any needed requirements.

· Provide training and guidance to public area and recreation staff job responsibilities, procedures, and rules and regulations.

· Oversee the records of cleaning staff schedules, inspections, and incident reports.

· In coordination with other departments to resolve maintenance issues, incident reports, and ensure seamless operations.

· Supervise the staff pantry at Arenco and Golden Sands to guarantee it is properly maintained and that the supplies are systematically organized.

· Ensure that all pool parameters are reported daily as per the DM Portal procedures.

· Manage and oversee the lifeguard certification process, ensuring that all lifeguard certificates are up to date and renewed as needed.

· Coordinate with site engineers to discuss shortcomings or progress of contracted services.

· Prepare the duty roster of the team members.
