About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. This role involves designing cloud resources, building automation pipelines, managing deployments, and ensuring observability across systems. The individual will work with cutting-edge tools and technologies including AWS, GCP, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.

What you’ll do

• Design and provision cloud resources on AWS and GCP using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Develop front-end automation pipelines with Docker and Jenkins, integrating SonarQube and Nexus.
• Manage deployments across staging and production environments using GitLab.
• Implement observability solutions with Datadog, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and Grafana.
• Administer Elasticsearch clusters and optimise indexing for high-performance analytics.
• Manage MSK Kafka clusters and resolve infrastructure dependencies.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and ArgoCD.
• Apply GitOps practices and service mesh concepts with Istio.
• Script automation tasks using Python and Bash.
• Collaborate effectively across teams and maintain robust monitoring systems.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Proficient in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experienced in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation.
• Skilled in incident, problem, and release management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Familiar with microservices architecture and GitOps practices.
