Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our innovative technology team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing complex systems to support our organization's strategic objectives. The Senior Systems Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of systems across various departments.

Duties

  • Lead the analysis and evaluation of existing systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient system solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Oversee the implementation of new systems and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Conduct testing and validation of system functionalities, including specialized applications involving quantum engineering principles.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
  • Document system architectures, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, including advancements in quantum engineering, to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role within a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, integration, and security protocols.
  • Experience working with or knowledge of quantum engineering is highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of IT experience.
  • Proven expertise in O365, AD, Exchange Server, Windows, VPN, RDP, MS Teams
  • Proven expertise in Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Windows operating systems, desktop deployment, VPN, RDP, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in a Microsoft enterprise environment including:
  • Understanding of Windows Client and Windows Server in production environments.
  • Configuration of Windows Infrastructure via Group Policy and/or scripts.
  • Adept at using Powershell to automate and execute tasks.
  • Basic understanding of the TCP/IP Stack and common services such as DNS and DHCP.
  • Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite / Entprise Mobility + Security (EM+S) a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) upgrade, consolidation and migration projects.
  • 2+ years of experience with Office/Microsoft 365 with at least one year of experience migrating mailboxes.
  • 1+ years experience Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) or Azure Active Directory and understanding of SAML 2.0 and cloud SSO providers
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure management and supporting SharePoint environments would be a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience in coordinating with third-party technical support vendors.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Windows Server, Office 365, Azure) are highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of IT service management and ITIL best practices is a plus.
  • Track record of continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
