Senior Systems Analyst

SUMMARY:

Under little to no supervision the Business Intelligence Developer provides support for all Business Intelligence initiatives. Areas of responsibility include Database Management, Report Creation, Advanced Analyses and Project Management. The BI Developer will serve as a technical expert and may serve as a mentor for less experienced co-workers. This position will require extensive knowledge of data structure as well as advanced SQL coding ability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRMENTS

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Statistics, Data Science or related field.

System/Program Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of databases and other research tools used to gather and interpret member/market data.
• Extensive SQL programming experience.
• Knowledge of database management and software configuration.

Experience:

• Eight plus years of related experience in programming, business analytics projects, application implementation, and database management.
• Financial service industry experience plus.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent technical and communication skills are mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills, provides out-of-the-box solutions for problems or difficulties.
• Ability to operate with an analytical, data-driven mindset to derive actionable insights from data.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make advanced analytics concepts accessible to non-technical team members.
