We are seeking a highly skilled, proactive, and self-directed Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing IT team.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in key system technologies, troubleshooting, and deployment tools, alongside a commitment to ensuring optimal system performance and contributing to organizational success.
Responsibilities

Administer critical systems with tools like SCCM and Intune for patching, software deployment, and troubleshooting client-dependent issues

Monitor and maintain Windows-based systems, leveraging tools such as SCOM when advantageous

Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks

Handle administrative responsibilities for Windows servers and perform basic network troubleshooting to maintain connectivity and security
-
Analyze and resolve advanced technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance
-
Execute tasks with minimal supervision, effectively addressing high-level and undefined objectives

Communicate effectively across various teams to analyze requirements, share updates, and resolve issues

Collaborate with stakeholders to define system enhancements and identify operational efficiencies
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience administering systems using SCCM, Intune, and patching software
-
Knowledge of monitoring tools like SCOM combined with hands-on Windows system administration expertise

Advanced scripting proficiency in PowerShell with the capability to design and debug scripts for automation

Background in basic network troubleshooting including DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues
-
Strong troubleshooting skills for analyzing and resolving complex technical challenges

Competency in self-directed work styles, with the ability to address ambiguous problems independently

Good communication skills and proficiency in English at B1+ level
Nice to have

Skills in MS Systems Engineering with exposure to Azure infrastructure

Expertise in virtualization technologies including Hyper-V, VMware, and Failover Clustering setups

Familiarity with MS System Center tools such as SCOM, SCCM, SCO, and SC HVMM

Knowledge of NTFS permissions, Office 365, and Microsoft Exchange environments

Understanding of ITIL Foundation principles and tools like ServiceNOW and CMDB systems
