Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Synchrogistics in Raleigh, NC. This role plays a key part in supporting our continued growth by managing full-cycle recruiting while helping build and scale our recruiting function.
This is a newly created role driven by continued company growth and evolving hiring needs, with strong opportunity for long-term growth and increased ownership over the recruiting function.
You will partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and leadership to understand business needs, develop strong candidate pipelines, and create a consistent, high-quality hiring process from start to finish. In addition to recruiting across a variety of roles, this position will focus on developing and improving recruiting processes, bringing structure to how we hire as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting across brokerage, operations, sales, and shared services roles, from intake through offer acceptance
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and hiring priorities
- Proactively source and build pipelines by researching talent markets, competitor roles, and ideal candidate profiles
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve recruiting processes to create a more structured, scalable, and consistent hiring function
- Identify workflow gaps and establish best practices across sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluation
- Conduct phone screens and interviews, administer assessments, and provide clear recommendations to hiring managers
- Ensure a strong candidate experience through timely communication and organized interview coordination
- Maintain accurate data in the ATS (Greenhouse), support compliance, and partner with HR on onboarding and hiring initiatives (including campus recruiting and referrals)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a combination of HR and recruiting
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple roles simultaneously
- Strong experience sourcing candidates and building pipelines across a variety of roles and levels
- Experience partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements and drive hiring decisions
- Experience developing, improving, or implementing recruiting processes and workflows
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and standard recruiting tools (LinkedIn, job boards, etc.)
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or supply chain is a plus but not required

- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and able to quickly learn new systems
