Job Details:

The Senior Talent Management Specialist supports the execution of Mattress Firm's enterprise-wide talent management programs, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and career development. This role partners with HR teams and business leaders to ensure consistent processes, maintain talent systems and resources, and provide reporting and insights. The position contributes to building a high-performing, inclusive workforce by enabling the growth and development of talent across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Be a subject matter expert on the talent modules within Workday to support ongoing business needs.
  • Lead the configuration, testing, and maintenance of Workday functionality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users on talent module processes and tools.
  • Generate and deliver talent-related reports and dashboards.
  • Lead the facilitation of talent related training sessions.
  • Maintain talent tools and resources, including: creating and updating training materials, updating templates, guides, videos, and job aids, managing content in Bedpost and SharePoint, providing basic troubleshooting and user support for talent systems.
  • Create timelines, communications, and resources for cyclical performance activities, including: Goal Setting, Year-End Reviews, and 9-Box Calibration.
  • Tracks completion rates and follow up to ensure process adherence.
  • Configures and distribute reports to stakeholders to facilitate alignment and visibility.
  • Serve as a talent support partner for assigned business units.
  • Collaborate with HR Directors and HR Business Partners to address talent-related needs and provide program support.
  • Attend and assist in talent-related meetings, calibration sessions, and planning activities.
  • Provide support for high-potential development programs, including the coordination of 360-degree feedback surveys and related program logistics.
  • Other active support of development programs.

Non-Essential Responsibilities

  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Industrial or Organizational Psychology or equivalent experience preferred.

Professional Experience

  • 4-7 Years of Talent Management and/or Leadership and Organizational Development experience required.
  • Proven experience in managing the performance management cycle.

Compensation:

Competitive pay range of $100,000 - $110,000 per year * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
